Hello!
As of Monday, April 3, 2023, Dr. Priest will be working Wednesday-Saturday every other week, alternating with her normal Monday-Saturday schedule, with some exceptions. We are actively seeking to hire an associate veterinarian. Until we have one hired, we will be utilizing relief veterinarians when they are available. Please hang in there with us as our schedule will have many variables. Please call ahead if you have any concerns (916)-659-8067. We will do our best to keep our schedule current on our website.

The current schedule for October is:

October 1st & 2nd: Dr. McCarty, open 7:30 am – 6 pm
October 16th & 17th: Dr. McCarty, open 7:30 am – 6 pm
Monday, October 23rd: Dr. Priest will be out of the hospital. We are hoping to acquire a relief veterinarian for that day. If we are unable to do so, we will be open for food and medication pick-ups only.
October 30th: Dr. McCarty, open 8:30 am – 6 pm
October 31st: Dr. McCarty, open 7:30 am – 6 pm

November schedule:

November 13th & 14th: Dr. Broaddus, open 8:30 am – 6 pm

WE WILL BE CLOSED FOR THANKSGIVING NOVEMBER 22nd – 26th. REOPENING ON MONDAY, NOVEMBER 27th.

We are open 7:30 am – 6 pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday.
Tuesdays not listed above are 7:30 am – noon, and Saturdays are 8:30 am – 1 pm.

Cats only are fantastic. Our two ragdolls, Wilson and Madison, have gone there for the past 8 years. Recently, Wilson was diagnosed with kidney failure. Dr. Priest was amazing in providing his care. Unfortunately, he declined very quickly and we had to put him down yesterday. Dr. Priest and Mike were exceptional in their compassion and explaining what would happen. These guys are first-rate.

Dr. Priest and her staff are wonderful. They are very knowledgeable, compassionate and fair. They are always willing to answer all my questions whether I am there or on the phone. They do not pressure you to do any services, but gives options on the care they believe your cat needs, but in the end the decision is yours. Cats Only is the best choice in veterinary care for cats, especially for a cat that started like ferrel as mine did. Everyone there is professional, caring, and kind, both to the cats and to the owners (otherwise known as the cats’ staff).

Dr. Priest is amazing and her staff is highly trained and just wonderful people. During Covid, they will still see your cat. You have to call them when you arrive for your appointment and they will come to your car to pick up your cat. I can’t recommend this vet highly enough.
